We were assigned to take portraits for this quarter's photo essay. I didn't want to limit myself in regards to the type of photo (angle, candid vs. posed, etc.) or topic, so I chose diversity as my theme. All of the photos are of children and teens who come from different cultural backgrounds. I think it's incredibly important to acknowledge and appreciate the variety of people in our communities and the world as a whole.
